BUKAYO

Bukayo is a Filipino dessert made from coconut strips or shredded of young coconut with sugar melted. It's delicious as a dessert after a meal or just a snack(pantanggal umay).

Coconut tree Is so many uses And because the Philippines is one of the so-called tropical countries and we have approximately 7641 islands, our country is surrounded by coconut trees.
We are very lucky because we have this tree that is very useful like in food , material etc. They say that the coconut grows more and more from island to another island is when the coconut fruit is dropped in the sea and it travels to another island where it will sprout or grow and grow more and more. I dont know if its real or not hehe How amazing it is. Im just sharing with you this delicious Filipino coconut dessert
 

Wow darling i miss bukayo it looks dry but its ok im craving for bukayo now I miss my childhood because of that Bukayo is the only dessert we have before. 

Yes its dry but its delicious. I just bought it thats why its dry, maybe if its is home made the bukayo is different
