Suman is a Filipino delicacy thats often enjoyed as breakfast or some occasions. Its made from glutinous rice cooked in coconut milk wrapped in banana leaves and then steamed. The result is a sticky, and have smells like a banana leaves with a balance sweetness from the coconut milk and additional flavor from the banana leaves,
I dont know but it have a great taste if the food wrap in the banana. Sumans unique texture and flavor make it a comforting and very nostalgic dish for many Filipinos, its perfect for sharing with family and friends occasion. You often see this rice cake suman during New Year together with kalamay because the stickiness of suman symbolizes unity within the family, and the rice represents abundance. I love suman very much specially in the morning
