As a Filipino, rice is a big part of our meals morning, noon, or snack time, we always have it. For breakfast, I enjoy sinangag with tocino, hotdog, egg, ham, lumpia, corned beef, or even dried fish, alongside veggies like fried eggplant and steamed okra with shrimp paste. Thats why i also love silog store.We also love snacks like rice cakes for example puto bibingka, and sweet sticky rice sinukmani.One time foreigner asked me, "Why do Filipinos eat so much rice but aren't that fat? Hehehe its a mystery. Maybe the food is not enough or maybe Filipino have a very fast metabolism for being a hardworking person.
