SAMALAMIG OR PALAMIG

Palamig or Samalamig in the Philippines is like a superhero during times of extreme heat, just like this summer  absolutely refreshing! Almost every place here in the Philippines, youll see these kinds of drinks on the streets. 

What makes Samalamig so special? Well, first off, it's very affordable and you have plenty of choices. From classic flavors like gulaman and sago  they also have like mango or buko pandan (coconut pandan).. Plus, the vibrant colors of these are just begging to be Instagrammed! 

You can buy it for only 10 pesos - 20 pesos per cup. Sometimes, you can still find some vendors selling it for 5 pesos per cup. You often see this during the summer. So, if you're not familiar with it yet.
