The beach is free, but if you want to rent a Purok, they charge 1500 PHP for a day. It is the same price for the two new, nice-looking ones as the old, run-down ones. This is unheard of as it is more expensive than a Purok in most tourist destinations. Usually, you pay between 400 and 600 PHP for a day in a Purok.
The price we got was either an attempt to trick us out of money or the locals there have a lot of money to spend for a day at a beach filled with garbage.
We have encountered those prices for a Purok, but that is in entirely different surroundings. I am not condoning that price for a Purok anywhere, but it would not be in this location if I were to pay it. For example, in White Beach, Moalboal, where we live, a decent Purok costs around 500 PHP.
The beach is filled with seaweed and garbage.
We arrived, got disappointed, had a quick swim, and left.
